About Primosten - General Information about Primosten in Dalmatia - Croatia
Primosten is a town set upon a little island and is a part of the Sibenik-Knin county. It is situated in the southern Adriatic coast, between the cities of Sibenik and Trogir. It’s called a “dry point” by the sailors because of the long dry periods. Primosten is famous for its huge and beautiful vineyards and for the traditional donkey race that takes place there every summer.
Today, Primosten is considered to be a heaven for holiday-makers. It gives off a special charm that’s hard to resist and points out the true Mediterranean spirit with its stone houses, churches and little narrow streets.
Raduca is the biggest beach in Primosten, and its smaller part, Mala Raduca, was voted as one of 10 most beautiful beaches in Croatia. According to a survey from National Geographic magazine, Croatia was the top 2006 destination in the world for a summer holiday.
